Emily Seares

Emily Seares is an award-winning editor and freelance journalist, featured in VOGUE’s Digital Powerlist Top 100. Cited as ‘the one to watch’ by Selfridges during London Fashion Week, she is regularly quoted as a style expert in the national press.

I have worked as an editor and journalist for over 14 years specialising in luxury, fashion and retail. I am regularly by-lined in national newspapers and magazines, with a large network of contacts in the industry.

Stories are the most powerful form of human communication.

Brilliant storytelling is the most compelling way to hold a brand conversation. Whether it's through a social media post, digital feature or ad strapline - every piece of content should tell a story.
I have a background in both commercial and editorial content across print, digital and social media. I am adept at co-ordinating multiple stakeholders, whilst leading end-to-end delivery of innovative, cross-brand content lifestyle campaigns.
I have spoken at international conferences, been interviewed as a style expert live on BBC Breakfast, Radio 5 Live and BBC Scotland and regularly lectured at a British University.

I cut my teeth as a fashion news reporter and am regularly bylined in national newspapers and magazines including The Times, the BBC, The Daily Mail, Stylist, Drapers and Retail Week.

I founded my fashion, beauty and lifestyle website FashionBite in 2009. A pioneer in the digital content space, I was one of the original crop of London fashion bloggers.

I have worked on content creation with a wide range of fashion, lifestyle and luxury brands from small businesses to large global brands including Gucci, Selfridges, Calvin Klein, Bucherer, Cartier, Breitling, Rolex, Jasper Conran, Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs. This has included social media copy, online articles, ad straplines, print and digital magazines, video content, as well as creating and co-ordinating content strategies.
