NEW: Terry de Gunzburg The Glace Aqua Parfum
With a beautiful afternoon tea launch event at Sketch (pictured below), complete with cocktails, French lavender blossoming from our tables and bottles of Terry de Gunzburg’s perfume range scattered around us to explore, we were given a sneak preview of Terry’s latest The Glace Aqua Parfum, which has just hit stores.
Terry de Gunzburg is something of a legend in the make-up world, having invented Touch Eclat when she worked at YSL, she went on to found her highly successful own brand By Terry over a decade ago. I use her serum foundation daily and I’m huge fan of her make-up products.
Showing the same dedication to her perfume range (it was ten years in the making!) she has grown it to include over ten different scents. The latest, The Glace, is a light and fresh fragrance incorporating lavender from Terry’s own garden in Provence accompanied by notes of spiced wood, citrus and musk which give it a weightier punch.
I’ve been wearing it ever since the launch and I’m a big fan. It’s not too sweet with a fresh, unisex scent which is great for the summer months and sunny daytimes. The bottle is also beautifully designed, using a print inspired by abstract artist Sonia Delaunay’s colourful lines and graphics.
The Glace Aqua Parfum is available nationwide, £107, 100ml.
