NEW: ELIE SAAB Le Parfum Rose Couture
Rose’s are…well, couture in the case of Elie Saab’s new perfume (which launches this week) and the fragrance is just as beautiful and decadent as the name implies. With both Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day just around the corner too, it would make a lovely gift.
The designer’s Haute Couture fashion collections are always exquisitely put together. Stunning, sweeping floor-length gowns with delicate hand embellishment and embroidery, often in shades of pastel or pink, which look both striking and feminine.
Inspired by the similarity between fabric and flower, the new Rose Couture fragrance is described as: “Virtuoso creations of the Couturier’s art, which blossom each season in the collections, embroidered with limpid beads of dew, sculpted in tulle or taffetas fashioned into petals of fluttering chiffon.”
Rose is blended with fresh peony, jasmine and vanilla for a soft, sweet delicate scent but combined with base notes of sandalwood and patchouli the fragrance isn’t too sweet and has a richer, muskier undertone. German supermodel Toni Garrn is the face of the campaign.
A 90ml bottle of Elie Saab Rose Couture (pictured here) costs £70, a 50ml bottle is £52 and a 30ml bottle is £34. Available nationwide now.
