As London Fashion Week launches today, I’m really excited about seeing all the new Spring/Summer ’16 collections from some of my favourite designers.

An anchor of the London Fashion Week schedule, Burberry is always one to watch for its beautiful fashion but also its digital content, as it often pioneers a new way to show its collection through social media. This season is no different and it has teamed up with Snapchat to show its new SS16 collection to Snapchat’s 100 million users, the day before its official showcase on the catwalk. Unheard of!

But, the beauty of Snapchat is that the video disappears after 24 hours – so they’ll still be opportunity for the big reveal on the London catwalk this Sunday. Burberry is a real pioneer when it comes to marrying high fashion with digital innovation and the proof is in the sales, with the brand now making over £1 billion globally and really setting the agenda for how to appeal to the modern, luxury consumer.
