REVIEW: Healthy Juices & Peruvian Platters At COYA
You could easily walk past the entrance to COYA, it is an unassuming door just down from Green Park station, but inside is an ode to vibrant Latin America – with a menu to match.
Seated on comfy sofa-style chairs, you can sit back whilst enjoying a selection of sharing platters for lunch, all washed down with a healthy juice from the huge range on the menu. The sofa’s give the place a relaxed ambience, similar to that of a private member’s club, with welcoming and friendly staff to go with it.
With a delicious, fresh menu featuring quinoa, coriander, mint and pomegranate salad, tuna carpaccio and courgette, shiitake and mint garlic chips, walking out of this place we felt like we’d made up for any late night excesses earlier in the week.
If you’re not feeling quite so healthy though, the bar boasts over 40 different types of Tequila and an extensive rum list, which should keep you going well into the night.
If you like the South American vibe, the venue offers live music and DJ’s most evenings, which would definitely go well with the Tequila shots!
