Looking For A Mother’s Day Gift?
When it comes to Mother’s Day gifts, personal and hand-made is the way to go. A bunch of beautiful spring flowers and a hand-made card, or an experience gift such as a day out visiting a new exhibition or lunch somewhere lovely – just time hanging out with your Mum really.
The key thing is, it shouldn’t be about having to spend lots of money. I went to a recent event held by Yardley London, celebrating the relaunch of their brand. Following a bunch of customer research, they decided to redesign all their packaging, launch some new products and update their fragrances. The new products should be landing in stores over the coming weeks.
Playing to their strengths, they are a brand known for their floral bouquets and British heritage, I like the new products (English Rose and Lavender being my two favourites). Sourcing many of their ingredients from the British countryside, such as Lavender from local Kentish farms, they smell delicious and now have had a much-needed update.
A hand cream, only £3.99, is great for your desk at work but also combined with a bunch of fresh spring flowers and a hand-made card would make a great gift this Mother’s Day – you’ll hopefully still have some change to treat your Mum to lunch too.
Yardley London products are available from most high street pharmacy stores.
