All fashion eyes have been on Paris, as the 2015 Haute Couture shows give us a glimpse of ultimate fashion luxury, with beautiful showcase pieces revealing the painstaking work of hundreds of hours by skilled dressmakers.

I’ve seen first hand what goes into a couture piece, I write for Jasper Conran during London Fashion Week and visit his studio in the run-up to the season to see the incredible work and time that goes into his bespoke catwalk collection. Tiny pieces of fabric are individually cut and painstakingly hand-sewn on to luxurious garments and they truly are works of art.
