Summer Swimwear at Avenue 32
Shopping for swimwear can be as demoralising as shopping for jeans, but if you get the right style for your shape it can look fantastic.
For the more curvaceous hour glass figure, the diagonal stripes of this Roksanda Ilincic swimming costume (pictured 1) are very slimming and the accents of red and plum on the belt accentuate a nipped in waist. The simple, elegant style of this navy Heidi Klein cossie (pictured 2) also features a beautiful plunging back, which works wonders for the more petite in size. For a more boyish figure, a string-tie bikini is a great option – I love this colourful tile print design from Preen by Thornton Bregazzi (pictured 3).

SWIMWEAR SHOPPING TOP TIPS:
- Fake tan the night before going swimwear shopping, it’s slimming and great for cellulite too.
- Give yourself a pedicure – my favourite toe colour at the moment is Pistachio.
- Shop for accessories at the same time: sandals, bangles, sarongs and beach bags – this will help you plan your look from daytime to beach bar.
- Bright colours and neons look fantastic with a tan and are very slimming whatever your shape.
