Hands-On With The New ASK Bobbi App

Ask Bobbi App, FashionBite 2

Beauty brand Bobbi Brown has launched a new App ‘ASK Bobbi,’ packed full of handy hints and tips on how to create different looks. Available to download through the App store, I’ve been trying it out for the last few days…

Really easy to use, you can ask a specific beauty question in the search box at the top or click on one of the popular ‘How To’ questions for inspiration. I clicked on ‘How To Get Glowing Skin’, as my skin has been a nightmare for the last month and I could definitely do with the advice.

Featuring six tips on how to get glowing skin, including a manual exfoliant for rough/dry patches, switching to an extra-emollient moisturiser and avoiding matte or powder foundations which will accentuate lines, it then goes on to suggest products for me to use.

I’m able to share these suggestions with friends via social media or email or add them to my Wish List. If you’re looking for product inspiration, it will also recommend best sellers, what other users have rated and highlight its latest product launches for you to browse.

Scrolling down to the bottom of the page I can then check out my Wish List, click on the website to purchase the products or book a complimentary make-up lesson in store, searching for my nearest one by location. In store make-up lessons include the ‘Secret To Perfect Skin,’ ‘Teenage Beauty,’ ‘Party Make-up,’ ‘Cheeks and Lips’ and ‘Bridal Beauty’ to name a few…

“This App makes it possible for me to share my best tips instantly with my fans – no matter where they are. Make-up is actually quite simple when taught how to do it.” Bobbi Brown

If you log-in with your email/account details from the website, it will also save your preferences so you can shop your Wish List directly. If you’ve bought an eye liner for example, ASK Bobbi will then update you with tips on how to create stand-out eyes.
