Week Night Beauty Pamper Treats!
There’s nothing like a mid-week beauty treat when the weather’s grim and you’re feeling the need for a pamper.
I’ve been trying out Elemis’ new Pro-Collagen Hydra Gel Eye Masks, which have just launched, and they’re a great for giving the tired eye area that much needed boost. With a new anti-ageing formula, complete with plankton extract, the gel really soaks in and moisturises around the eyes reducing the look of soft fine lines, which are more often than not caused by dehydration in your twenties and early thirties.
I teamed the under eye masks with a brilliant product from Aromatherapy Associates: the new Essential Enzyme peel. It is great to get rid of the dead skin cells on your face, revealing fresh, new skin underneath – without the need for a harsh exfoliator! You just need to smooth on a thick layer and the fruit acids (pineapple, passion flower and grape) work hard to dissolve the dead skin cells, leaving soft glowing skin underneath. I love this product, teamed with the Elemis eye masks, which gives my skin a real pick-me-up.
Finally, in my mid-week beauty pamper I’ve using Soap Smith’s Camden body moisturiser, which smells divine. The brand’s handmade range of body butters, lotions and bath soaks have been named after London’s famous landmarks and the distinctive scents have been devised to reflect these areas. The range includes Bloomsbury, Brick Lane and Lavender Hill ,to name a few, and the quirky idea makes for a great gift for friends too.
