A Festive Fairytale Breakfast With Mulberry…
This morning, Mulberry treated a group of us to celebrate the ‘magic of Christmas and fairy tales’ with the unveiling of their Christmas windows at Harrods.
A gang of journalists and bloggers met at Claridges for an early start breakfast, where we were treated to delicious bacon butties and coffee to take on board the Mulberry/Harrods bus.
We were taken for a ride around the Knightsbridge area whilst munching our breakfast, arriving at Harrods to be greeted by carol singers and the unveiling of Mulberry’s stunning window display, which was created by genius art director Shona Heath.
Inspired by the beauty of winter woodlands and Mulberry’s roots in the English countryside, Heath has transformed five windows of the Brompton Road department store into a Mulberry fairy tale, complete with snow-covered frozen lake and woodland creatures.
After the unveiling, we were ushered in to enjoy a Champagne Christmas toast and a Dickensian festive reading by Downton Abbby star Allen Leech. What better way to start the new working week?
Mulberry has also opened a pop-up shop in Harrods during December which, alongside all its full Winter range, will also feature fairy tale readings at the weekend, personalised gift wrapping and the chance for customers to have their initials embossed on a selection of leather goods.
Some of my highlights from the Mulberry pop-up store…
