REVIEW: By Terry Wrinkle Control Serum Foundation

By Terry Densiliss Wrinkle control serum foundation review, FashionBite

I’m a huge fan of the By Terry range, founded by the lady behind the iconic YSL Touche Éclat – who after 10 years at the beauty giant went on to set up her own brand – the products speak for themselves.

Founder Terry de Gunzburg has spent the last 5 years developing her first wrinkle control and firming serum foundation, which acts as a serum, anti-ageing cream and foundation all in one, evening out skin tone whilst giving a light, glossy finish. I’ve been using the product for the last month and I’m a massive fan.

Not only is this 3 products in one, which gives justification for the £75 price tag, but it manages to effectively combine a matte consistency with a soft, glossy finish – something which the By Terry range in general does exceptionally well.

I’m somewhere in between a BB/CC cream and foundation in terms of what I like. If I have a long, busy day ahead of me with lots of meetings and an event in the evening, I find a BB cream offers too light a coverage, but at the same time many foundations I find too heavy for the day time, so this product sits perfectly in between. It evens out my skin tone and creates a lovely base for make-up in the morning, which lasts until I fall into bed at the end of the day. I’ve been using the Light Amber colour.

The By Terry Densiliss Wrinkle Control Serum Foundation is available from Space NK, along with the full By Terry range. If you’re not familiar with the products, I’d recommend popping into one of their stores and having a chat to one of the sales staff about the brand and what products would most suit you/your skin type.
