REVIEW: Christmas Menu At Prezzo

Prezzo Christmas Menu

Christmas meals with friends can be more stressful than you bargained for, what with ever-changing numbers, trying to pick a venue and agreeing on a price range. Somewhere like old faithful Italian, Prezzo, might not be the first place to spring to mind when considering somewhere to book for a Christmas meal, but once inside it becomes clear this is the sort of venue was built for mass catch ups – unpretentious, easy to book (no queuing for 2 hours here!) menus that please everyone (the majority, anyway), a buzzy atmosphere where rising noise levels aren’t too much of a problem, and crucially, not too expensive.

Prezzo have created three set Christmas Party menus to make life easy over the festive season (running until 1st January 2014) starting from a very reasonable £16.95 for three courses. We were lucky enough to sample it before the festive season really got off the ground, and can confirm it was delicious. Expect classic Italian dishes cooked well, with the likes of Bruschetta or Grilled Goat’s Cheese to start, followed by Spaghetti Carbonara or Vegetarian Pizza for mains and Tiramisu or Chocolate Profiteroles for dessert.

What’s more, £24.95 will buy you four courses and a glass of Prosecco – a bargain if ever we saw one. Go on, it is Christmas after all…
