Whether it’s for a hen weekend or a special birthday, nights out are going nationwide as people branch out to sample the UK’s legendary party scene. Previously voted Britain’s best nightlife destination in a TripAdvisor poll (above Manchester, London and Belfast) Liverpool is one of clubbing’s best kept secrets. Whether you’re a raver or a rocker, Liverpool has a club that will be right up your street, as well as a whole host of popular pubs and bars.

Cavern Club

The legendary Cavern Club (Mathew Street, L2 6RE) is where the Beatles first gained recognition in their hometown, and if you’re a fan of live music you can see a variety of bands every day and night on the venue’s front stage. Enthusiastic reviewers describe an electric atmosphere, great live music and well-priced drinks at the birthplace of British pop music.
