Covent Garden Shopping Night – 20% Discounts! (Thurs May 30th)

Get into the spirit of spring this Thursday with a night of shopping, discounts and fabulous entertainment in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials and St Martin’s Courtyard…sounds like our perfect evening!

With 20% discounts at over 120 shops, restaurants, bars and venues it’s also the perfect time to pick up all those summer items for the months ahead. The event takes place between 5-9 pm on Thursday May 30 and includes discounts at stores such as Barbour, Diesel, Jaeger London, Kiehl’s, The Cambridge Satchel Company and The White Company.

Other festivities include the Seven Dials village Phone Box Photo booth, live performances from vintage singing duo ‘Verity and Violet’ in St Martin’s Courtyard and Molly’s Lipps, who will be performing at Bolongaro Trevor. Coco De Mer will also be hosting Burlesque, contortionist and balancing act performers in their window courtesy of Circus restaurant and bar, and DJ Lee Hume will be spinning his beats at Urban Outfitters.

Food and drink also features high on the evening’s agenda where for £5 or less you can enjoy British savoury delights from street vendors What The Dickens and Eat My Pies, alongside ice-creamist Ruby Violet, who will satisfy your sweet tooth with flavours such as English rhubarb & custard, chilli chocolate and English honey and honeycomb with toasted almonds from their classic Bedford van.

A host of pop-up bars will be scattered throughout the traffic-free streets of Seven Dials including Kamm & Sons BarCycle and Punch & Judy Bar serving a mixture of delicious Summer punch and ‘Sunshine Mary’s’ made from their British Aperitif; the Twisted Ice Cream Cocktail Parlour where you can indulge on the world-first alcoholic ice cream and home-made “hard” lemonade.

Claim complimentary Bloom Gin cocktails from the St Martin’s Courtyard pop-up bar, and Moscow Mules, G&Ts and Dark & Stormys from the award-winning Fever-Tree Botanical Bicycle. You can also enjoy free Pimms, retro sweeties, popcorn and candy floss from the Seven Dial’s vintage tricycles and stalls offering.

There will also be a host of gifts, surprises and opportunities to win throughout the evening including complimentary manicures by WAH nails for the first 50 shoppers to spend over £50, the Seven Dials Tombola, which will be spinning for shoppers to win prizes worth up to £150, and Joules will have a fantastic print Mini parked in St Martin’s Courtyard for shoppers to win. Plus head to 18 Earlham Street to view the Seven Dials ‘Best In Show’ Spring edit window with an opportunity to win the £1,000 worth of items
