BEAUTY SPY: Kure Bazaar Nails

BEAUTY SPY: Kure Bazaar Nails

Kure Bazaar, FashionBite

This is a fabulous new nail brand, created by Brazilian supermodel Kartika Luyet. The colours are bright and vibrant, with cool names like Stiletto, Rock Star, Hipster and Stone Wash, and the varnish is made from natural ingredients such as wood pulps, wheat and cotton – so it ticks all the eco boxes too.

Kartika said she began developing the formula whilst pregnant with her son. “I became more conscious of what I was putting in my body and my choice for organic food drifted into cosmetics – as much as I love nail polishes, I had naturally stopped wearing them. I got together with one of my closest friends (who has over 20 years experience in the industry) and we were fortunate to work with one of the best laboratories around today, who accepted to take on this challenge with us.”

Using the catwalks for inspiration, the brand now features over 30 colours inspired by fashion. “From the vibrant yellow dress at a Tokyo runway I modelled at to Blue Jeans, the superstars of our streets, the fashion world is rich in vibrant colours that truly inspire me and of which are brought to life in Kure’s supreme colour shades,” said Kartika.

The bottles are beautifully designed and look gorgeous lined up on the dressing table. With a cult following amongst beauty editors, its a must-have on your wish-list!

Available now at Selfridges.
