Something To Celebrate? Try The Lucky Pig, Fitzrovia

Something To Celebrate? Try The Lucky Pig, Fitzrovia

In the mood for drinks dripping with the glamour of a bygone era? Down some nondescript stairs lies The Lucky Pig, a decadent drinking den perfect for a sophisticated birthday bash or celebrating that promotion. Get ready to feed your Mad Men obsession with gin cocktails and elegant finger food…

Chipped plaster, vintage posters and chintzy furniture set the shabby chic scene, lending a cosy, romantic feel to this bar. Candlelit nooks make for great date spots while alcoves complete with red velvet curtains host mysterious private parties.

A definite air of naughtiness is palpable, as pretty waitresses collect orders for cheese boards and ‘piggy platters’. The food is light to say the least, so if you’re planning a night of heavy drinking (it’s impossible not to once you see the cocktail menu) it might be an idea to grab dinner beforehand. lucky_pig_review

It’s all about having a good time at this bar. Good-looking barmen do their best to please their guest’s every whim, and if that means whipping you up an extra strong ‘Granny Smash’ (don’t ask) or joining you to dance the night away to drum heavy beats, so be it! The friendliest ‘trendy’ bar I’ve visited for a good while, I loved this place and I hope you will too.
