Jimmy Choo’s Second Fragrance Flash…so, how does it smell?

Much to my absolute delight, Jimmy Choo has launched a second fragrance: Flash. I absolutely adored their debut perfume, read more about it HERE>> and it must run in the family because my Mum loved it so much, I ended up giving her the remains of my bottle. Then low and behold, underneath the Christmas tree this year was a new bottle as a gift from my Dad, she really does love it!

So, it was with great excitement that I unwrapped the newest addition to the JC  fragrance family. Created by Jimmy Choo Creative Directors Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway, they say: “Flash is about the cool rush of excitement and the sense of power a woman feels when dressed in a pair of sexy shoes. Its character, which is both heady and effervescent, captures this perfectly.”

The designers say the fragrance is about the “thrill of the red carpet, the fun of the nightclub and the glamour of dressing up.” Even the crystal faceted bottle has been designed with the paparazzi flash bulb in mind. Knowing all this, the name does make sense – but when put to their Number 1 fragrance fan (a.k.a my Mum) she immediately thought of household cleaning products..umm..probably not the look they were going for!

How Does It Smell?

With white floral base notes, hints of jasmine and white lily and top notes of pink pepper and strawberry the perfume has a deliciously feminine, yet deeply sexy smell. It is delicate, as well as being poweful, sweet but still refreshing. It really is an intoxicating fragrance – the perfect spring scent and I can’t recommend it enough…Valentine’s Day gift ideas? The perfumer Christine Nagel says: ” I created Flash for the self-confident, urban Jimmy Choo woman: sexy, rebellious and sophisticated. I imagined the sound of her heels, clicking on the streets of New York, London and Paris.”

Where Can You Buy It?

Flash is available exclusively at Debenhams until January 28th, then nationwide after that, 100ml £62.
