Issa London provided us with one of the most colourful collections of the season. With a ‘resort’ feeling to the beautiful spring/summer offer, I was taken away to a vista of wondrous colours, beautiful flowing gowns and interactive prints.

Humorous but still elegant, the beautiful cut of the summer dresses was inspirational (and made it seem that little bit colder outside!) I picked up on an oriental influence with cute kimono sleeves, beautiful plunging V’s but not too deep, just at the right level. A tiered dress of orange and pink print gathered at each seam, flattering every contour of the models lithe frame. The Issa woman is bold, confident and colourful in her choice. Everything a show of this season should exude.

The effortless glamour which comes across through the interesting cut and fit of each garment really adds an exciting dynamic to the collection. Paired alongside loud statement prints of pelicans and tropical flowers, everything worked well with one another and it made for a visually stunning collection. Triumph was also the lingerie catwalk supplier for the show.

The collection took me away on a beautiful adventure, I can’t wait to see what this gorgeous designer presents us with next season!
