Louise Gray for Topshop – The Wait Is Finally Over!
We can hardly contain our excitement here at FashionBite HQ. It seems like forever since we first heard the tinkling of glitter-fuelled, furry ball whispers surrounding Louise Gray’s much anticipated collaboration with Topshop. And finally, will the vision be available for one and all to be fully engrossed in Gray’s wonderful world of sequins, colour and print!
What else would we expect from a lady who sends balloon harnessed headwear, candy woven dreadlocks, bumble bee zig-zag thigh boots and bubble wrap bras down the catwalk; who turns bonkers style into genius reality. You can spot the Scottish designer’s handiwork a mile off when your feast on your eyes on the delights she has shared with the highstreet masses for Topshop.
Sequins, sequins, and oh, did we mention sequins seem to be the order of the season, with an array of colourful smiley faces over stripes, big gold celebratory stars placed strategically over the chest and spotted cropped jackets. Matching black face harems, rainbow coloured chainmail-esque dresses, heavily loaded t-shirts in lilacs, reds, turquoises and pinks makes this collection, simply, sequin-astic!
With Gray modelling the collection herself, styling it the way only she could with flash blue eyebrows, little girl lost red hair ribbon and a neon orange beauty spot, you really get a sense of how the garments should be worn: “Someone who is fun!” as Gray exclaimed.
With the fabulously garish, bright make-up range (well you weren’t expecting muted hues now were you?) also launching on the same day, you really are in for a treat.
Do. Not. Miss. Out.
