Olympic Fever At Foot Locker!

Olympic Fever At Foot Locker!

Olympic Fever over at Foot Locker! FashionBiteWith the London Olympics now in full swing, what better way to break up the sports proceedings than with a fabulous trainer interlude!

The lovely designers at Foot Locker have just launched two exclusive trainer collections, specifically inspired by the 2012 Olympic Games. Hurdling over the finish line first is Adidas Originals with the ‘Medal Pack,’ a metallic trio sensation based around the gold, silver and bronze form. Introducing the first of the silhouettes, the Hard Court (£74.99), the LA Trainer II (£69.99)and the new Space Diver (£71.99), they all give a very timely nod and kick to the ‘big logo story’ trend of the 90’s that is oh so right about now. (As well as offering an exclusive remix track to download on the Foot Locker Facebook page by London rapper, Chipmunk). Style savvy and footwear you can actually run to press days in… size 5 please!

Hop, skip and jumping through the long jump sandpit secondly, is the Nike Dream Team Collection (please do not make any comparisons to the Sky1 television programme as this footwear is actually about class and style!) With six silhouettes available in an array of colourways, it simply is impossible to choose a winner between them all.

Olympic Fever over at Foot Locker! FashionBiteFrom the iconic Nike Air Force 1 Mid ’07 High basketball shoe (already a legend in its own right) available in Mid-High (£71.99) and Mid-Low (£69.99), to the Nike Free Run 2.0 (£79.99) applying the latest technology in trainer design with an inner-sleeve providing a snug fit and enhanced breathability factor. Finally, the Nike Air Max (£89.99) a trainer-head favourite, presented in blue/white/grey and white/blue/gold colourways.

With sport luxe one of the key trends this summer, why not take a break from the wedge trainers that are everywhere at the moment and take it back to its roots, to its original form when sport clothing meant casual comfort with the coolest of edge. Basically, back to Nike and Adidas – still the number one choice for trainer ecstasy!

Available in stores nationwide now.
