Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc Launches Fragrance
Travel Reporter: Amy Everett
Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc, the celebrity hotel of choice over Cannes Film Festival, is releasing a fragrance that aims to capture the natural elegance of its namesake.
The luxurious fragrance L’Eau d’Eden-Roc opens with notes of Bergamot, green grass and basil – a classic, clean perfume that evokes the hotel’s luscious surroundings.
Notes of amber and white musk nod towards the warmth and tranquility of the gorgeous celebrity hotspot, while the heart of the fragrance is enhanced by Ylang of Comoros and ginger, inspired by the glittering waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
L’Eau d’Eden-Roc is the perfect accessory for those staying at the luxury hotel, renowned for its attention to detail, accommodating staff and celebrity clientele. Pablo Picasso, JFK and Frank Sinatra have all enjoyed the peace and tranquility the hotel is famed for, among countless others.
Hidden away at the Southernmost tip of the Cap d’Antibes, the award-winning hotel is often described as one of the most beautiful properties in Europe. Twenty two acres of pine trees and tropical gardens border the sensational Napoleon III chateau, which boasts two private villas and a heated salt water pool.
Guests can expect sensational Mediterranean cuisine from the gastronomic restaurant within, in the capable hands of ChefArnaud Poette. You will be offered the finest traditional wines to accompany you meal, but be sure to leave room for the delights of the hotel’s “Choclaterie”, run by Chef Lillian Bonnefoi. The epitome of decadence, chocolate lovers must not miss this indulgent experience.
Such exquisite accommodation comes with a hefty price tag, and if, like us, you can’t quite afford it, the fragrance promises to make you feel like an A-lister.
