Emma Stone oozed easy summer glamour at the premiere of new film The Amazing Spiderman in Madrid. Opting for understated make up and retro hair, Emma’s look is soft and girly and great for day or night time (and even red carpets) this summer. Even better, it’s very easy to replicate.

The most important factor in getting Emma’s look is to begin with a flawless base, so begin by smoothing a primer like Mac’s Prep & Prime over your face. If you’re lucky enough not to need foundation this amazing primer is all you need for a glow like Emma’s. If, however, you’re like me and foundation is your best friend apply a light layer on top of your primer.

Sweep a light layer of brown eye shadow across lids, then using an eye shadow brush dust lightly under your lower lashes. I love Bourjois Smoky Eyes in 04 nude ingénu. It’s perfect for creating a smoky look and with three different shades you can build up to the look you want – remember less is more in this case.

For rosy lips and cheeks like Emma try a beauty multi-tasker like Benefit Posietint which creates a natural blush on cheeks while turning lips perfectly pink with a gorgeous dewy finish.

Finally curl hair with curling tongs and fix with a good does of hair spray before gently brushing out to get Emma’s soft waves.

Kirby grips and floral gown are optional depending on just how girly you’re feeling.
