Tattly Tattoos – The Perfect Festival Accessory!

Tattly Tattoos – The Perfect Festival Accessory!

Lifestyle Reporter: Amy Everett

Have you been getting in on the latest trend for all things 90’s? Just when we thought we’d covered all the bases with platform shoes, neon brights and flannel, we discovered Swiss Miss’s fun collection of temporary tattoos. There are dozens of designs, and the FashionBite team wants them all!

Tattly tatoos are a great way of re-living your childhood and they’re perfect for festivals (no water does have it’s advantages, they’ll stay on for longer!) The US website’s tagline quips, ‘Who said forever is better?’ We’re not sure, but it’s clear that temporary is the new timeless.

You can upgrade your hipster cred and experiment with body art the easy way – there’s something really exciting about going wild with your choices knowing they’re not permanent!

Founded by Tina Roth Eisenberg, the project brought together artists from across America and Canada to submit design ideas. The result is an eclectic mix of prints, letters, cartoons and phrases in a range of fonts and styles, so there’s something to suit everyone’s taste.

For the kids in your life, or the kids-at-heart, we love these cutesy designs, including sketches of robots, lions, lollipops and ice creams.

We particularly like the best-selling ‘You’re Late’ watch designs by Julia Rothman – perfect as a fun gift for a friend who’s never on time. They come in a range of colours and inspired a second design called ‘Love’ which is just as cool.

Get involved at www.tattly.com, where 2 tattoos are just $5 (don’t worry, they ship ‘everywhere’). We’ll be choosing from the Animals section, and wearing ours to Bestival – this year’s theme is ‘Wildlife’. What will you do with yours?
