BOUTIQUE SPOTLIGHT: ‘Indian Summer’

BOUTIQUE SPOTLIGHT: ‘Indian Summer’

Indian Summer at FashionBiteIndian Summer is a fabulous store located on the Parson’s Green stretch of the Fulham Road. I walk past it weekly, when I freelance in West London and it is a delightful treasure trove of clothing accessories, toys, gifts and home/lifestyle products with a Bohemium feel. It is one of those shops that you can easily while away an hour or so browsing.

The delightful owner Ruth Kehoe, who set up shop in 2004 following a trip to India, says she continues to be inspired by travel, colour and the Indian bazaar.

I love the shop design, with clothing displayed on vintage dressers and jewellery spilling out of antique wardrobes, you feel like you’ve stumbled into someone’s dressing room.

Indian Summer at FashionBiteAs I head down to Parson’s Green tube station in the evening I’m always drawn into the store, which retains such a charm and character that many high street chains lack.
