LONDON: Hermès to launch new exhibition of iconic designs!
The exhibition is due to be held in the Royal Academy of arts sister space at 6 Burlington Gardens, according to British Vogue, and will trace Hermès history – from a 19th Century saddle and harness-maker to one of the most famous handbag brands in the world today.
As well as pieces commissioned by the Duke of Windsor as gifts for Wallis Simpson, the exhibition will feature four one-off bags representing England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. These will be auctioned off with all proceeds being donated to the Royal Academy of Arts.
The exhibition will run from May 8 to 27 and entry is free.
