This week I’m heading off to Paris and Switzerland, filming for a luxury website. As I’ll be interviewing on camera, I’ve been through a selection of rituals over the last week or so in preparation….

First off was a 5 day detox with NOSH, I’ll be writing a full review of this shortly but needless to say it was brilliant (and v.tough!), but I lost nearly 7lbs which was the kick-start I needed!

Second up, I had my roots done and a hair cut. I’ve also been using this fantastic deep nourishing treatment (which is great if your hair is dry from too much dying!).

The hair mask is Lee Stafford Arganoil from Morocco, you leave it on for about 5 minutes in between shampoo and conditioner. It has made such a difference to the condition of my hair and it is so much glossier as a result.

Next up, I had a Shellac French Manicure at Ted’s Beauty Spot salon in London’s Cheapside. The Shellac manicure is my new nail obsession – it’s absolutely brilliant, lasts for weeks without chipping and helps your nails grow without damaging them (like false nails can).

The manicurist was telling me how popular the Shellac has become with brides-to-be, as the colour lasts for the wedding and entire honeymoon without chipping. The varnish is set under a heated lamp, which helps seal the colour and set it to the nail. I will definitely be getting a Shellac manicure and pedicure before heading off on hols this summer!

Finally, I had a St.Tropez spray tan. I felt so pale and there’s nothing quite like a spray tan to invigorate your skin and give it that healthy glow. I had the original golden glow spray tan, but the brand has also just launched a new Self Tan Dark range.

The Dark range creates a much deeper tan, perfect for the summer months (or back from a winter sun holiday), when you’ve already got a solid base colour. I’m heading out to St Tropez this summer for my birthday, so will definitely be applying the Dark range before I go. In the next few days, I’ll also be topping up with the Self Tan Bronzing Mousse – it is great for keeping your colour in between spray tan sessions.
