Alexander McQueen’s McQ label to open London boutique
Vogue.co.uk reports that MCQ, Alexander McQueen’s younger sub brand, is set to open its first standalone boutique in London…yey!
A spokesperson for McQ confirmed that a store is set to open early next year in central London, but didn’t reveal any other details.
Following the death of its eponymous designer last year, Alexander McQueen took the McQ label back in house. The autumn/winter 2011 collection – designed by new creative director Pina Ferlisi –is set to arrive in stores such as Selfridges in September. It will be the first full McQ collection featuring clothing and shoes.
