The label’s fomer owners, private equity group TowerBrook, bought the company for £225 million in 2007…not a bad return for 4 years!

Jimmy Choo’s CEO Joshua Schulman told WWD: “Labelux is really complementary to Jimmy Choo with its focus on luxury fashion, accessories and jewellery…We look forward to partnering with them on our growth plans.”

Jimmy Choo has nudged its way into new categories in recent months, with the launch of its debut fragrance ‘Jimmy Choo’ alongside a handbag collection and a collaboration with H&M…but it looks likely its new owners will be ramping things up a notch or two with a ‘fashion, accessories and jewellery line!’

Jimmy Choo will morph itself into a luxury lifestyle brand over the next few years…watch this space!
