Over 300 products are competing for one of the Cosmetic Executive Women’s (CEW) renowned Beauty Industry Awards for 2011.

This month, beauty industry insiders will vote on their top beauty products.

Voting follows the CEW product demonstration event at the end of last month, attended by over 600 UK beauty experts.

Branded the ‘Oscar’s of the beauty world’, CEW’s beauty awards recognise innovation and creativity in the industry.

Participating brands include Neal’s Yard Remedies, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Eve Lom and Crabtree & Evelyn, Nars and Melvita.

The 2011 finalists will be revealed in April, while the winners will be announced in May.

Caroline Neville, president of CEW, said: “This year will be more competitive than ever.”

CEW was founded in America in 1954 with the aim of recognising top talent in the beauty field.

In 2006, CEW UK launched its Beauty Industry Awards. The 24 award categories include skincare, bodycare, makeup and fragrance.

For more information on the Awards and to buy selected finalist and winning products as soon as they are revealed, visit the Superdrug and CEW (UK) Beauty Awards online shop at Superdrug.com/cewuk.
