Vaseline hosted a bloggers evening at the Charlotte Street Hotel to launch its new Lip Therapy Sticks.

I have to admit, I’m a bit of Vaseline addict- I always have a pot in my handbag- so I was happy to find out more about the new line.

Vaseline has launched four new sticks: Aloe, Rosy, Cocoa Butter and Original. The Rosy is great and with a pink tint it’s a good substitute for lipstick. Aloe feels refreshing, Cocoa Butter moisturising and Original is great for boyfriends who don’t want to seem too girly!

Andrew Saynor, who works in Research and Development at Vaseline, said: “We’re offering an alternative to customers who don’t like the grease of the tin. The Lip Therapy Stick combines the Vaseline credentials of the petroleum jelly with natural waxes to give your lips more of a matte finish.”

The Sticks definitely feel a lot lighter than the Vaseline tins and I find myself putting more on as a result- but great if you don’t like that greasy feel of ordinary Vaseline.

You can buy the new Lip Therapy Sticks online for £1.99 at Superdrug.
