Julianne launches website

Julianne 1 Julianne, the luxury ready-to-wear clothing label, has launched a transactional website at The brand, which is also stocked at Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, combines femininity and glamour, using fabrics such as silks and French laces, to produce a collection which blurs the boundaries between intimate apparel and outerwear.

London-based Australian designer Nicky Adamo is taking her first tentative steps into retail, having previously just wholesaled the brand, and the collections are inspired by her frequent travels abroad. Nicky also launched Julianne Black this year, a diffusion line which focuses on softly tailored dresses, blouses and skirts and the website has a new bridal section.

Nicky says: “My philosophy is that we all need a little bit of decadence and glamour in our day, whether it’s wearing a silk chemise to bed or a lace blouse to work…”

Dresses start at £145 for a silk georgette piece lined with stretch silk satin, but you can also pick up a gorgeous silk camisole for £45. If you’re looking for that stunning party dress, or simply a luxurious blouse to wear to work, check out the new website…you won’t be disappointed.
