FRAGRANCE: Flower Arranging With Jimmy Choo
To celebrate the launch of their latest perfume, Illicit Flower, Jimmy Choo invited us for breakfast and a flower arranging session at the stunning By Appointment Only Design flower store in central London.
Armed with handfuls of peonies, roses and sweet peas we set about arranging a bouquet, under the guidance of renowned florist Tony Marklew. I really enjoyed it – what a lovely, creative way to start the day.
The fragrance itself is light and fresh – so great for the daytime summer months. With top notes of apricot, mandarin and freesia, combined with grapefruit flower and jasmine on a woody base note of sandalwood, the perfume manages to strike a nice balance of being floral and fresh without being too sickly sweet.
Illicit Flower, £36 for 40ml. Available nationwide.
