NEW: Algenist Elevate Firming & Lifting Contouring Eye Cream

REVIEW: Algenist Elevate Firming & Lifting Contouring Eye Cream | FashionBite

Algenist is launching a new Elevate contouring eye cream this July and we’ve got our hands on a sample to give you our thoughts, ahead of it going on sale.

The brand claims the cream offers a “solution to sagging skin with a product that visibly contours, firms and transforms the definition of your skin.” Sounds good and just what I need!

The product uses Algenist’s signature micro-algae, a natural ingredient which the San Franciso-based brand discovered also has amazing anti-ageing properties (read more about it in my review of their Reveal Colour Correcting Radiant Primer).

I’ve been using the cream morning and evening for the last few weeks and I have actually seen a real improvement in the quality of skin around my eye area. Fine lines have almost disappeared too. When brands claim to “visibly improve the skin’s tone and elasticity” you kind of feel like this is the same old skincare jargon but I feel like this cream has actually helped.

The cream also has a slightly shiny, translucent pink colour to it and I’ve been using a tiny dab on top of my make-up, across the cheekbones, to give them a glossy finish.

The eye cream is £56 and launching exclusively with QVC UK in July. It will be available in other stores at a later date.
