Extremely exciting news just in, the lovely Paul Smith has joined forces for AW12 with another iconic, typically British brand in heritage label, Barbour. Smith is the latest in a line of designers, from Alice Temperley to Anya Hindmarch, to collaborate with the label – whose much-loved Beadnell jacket is worn everywhere from farmers, festival goers, Hackney hang-outs and Chelsea sloanes. The collection will include both male and female pieces and will incorporate zig-zag stitching, Breton stripe wool lining, polka dot wax finish and the use of red velvet to give it a very distinctive, Paul Smith twist. Other pieces will include T-shirts, jeans and chambray shirts. The celebration of all things wonderfully British continues…
The capsule collection hits stores this week.
