Harvey Nichols has unveiled a botanical-inspired installation on its fourth floor, to showcase the new season collection of ethical fashion brand Edun (founded by Ali Hewson and her husband, U2 singer Bono).
The luxury department store said it has “brought the outdoors in with raw and modern contrasts, to capture the joyful freshness of the spring/summer ’12 collection.”
Edun’s SS12 collection – which features a combination of mashed up florals mixed with traditional African prints – is perfect for the new season’s contrasting prints trend. The range includes striking print dresses (made in Kenya) and jackets made from recycled Hemp, designed by creative director Sharon Wauchob.
Magical Mirror art has been used in the installation to reflect the collection’s botanical elements, along with an assortment of 3D butterflies and tropical plants.
